FUNDING WILL SUPPORT COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH SALARY, EQUIPMENT AND TRAVEL FOR THE FY25 FOREST INVENTORY AND ANALYSIS (FIA) FIELD WORK IN MISSISSIPPI. THIS IS FOREST RESOURCE DATA COLLECTION. DATA IS COLLECTED FROM OVER 5,200 FIELD SAMPLE LOCATIONS REFERRED TO AS PLOTS. INVENTORIES INCLUDE TREES ACROSS ALL LANDS, LANDOWNERS, AND WOOD PROCESSING MILLS. MEASUREMENTS FROM FELLED TREES ARE ALSO COLLECTED AT ACTIVE LOGGING OPERATIONS TO FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE UTILIZATION STUDY WHICH IS A COMPONENT OF FIA PROGRAM. INCLUDES DATA COLLECTIONS FOR TIMBER PRODUCTS OUTPUT (TPO) SURVEY DATA.FROM A PORTION OF THE PRIMARY WOOD PROCESSING FACILITIES IN THE STATE.$522,418
