THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY IS TO COLLECT AND ANALYZE DATA TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRENT CAPABILITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL BASE SUPPORTING START-UP SPACE COMPANIES. START-UP SPACE REFERS TO THE EMERGING COMMERCIAL SPACE INDUSTRY SUCH AS SMALL SATELLITE CONSTELLATIONS COMMERCIAL HUMAN SPACEFLIGHT AND LOW EARTH ORBIT CARGO TRANSPORTATION ASTEROID MINING OR CUBESATS. THIS STUDY WILL IDENTIFY HOW THE POTENTIAL TO USE LESS EXPENSIVE MORE CAPABLE AND QUICKLY AVAILABLE COMPONENTS FOR SPACE SYSTEMS IMPACTS THE COMMERCIAL SPACE SUPPLY CHAIN.
