THE PROPOSED OBJECTIVES ARE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SOLAR ARRAY SYSTEM ON THE ROOFS OF PRE-IDENTIFIED CAMPUS BUILDINGS TO PROMOTE THE COLLEGE’S ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY GOALS OF HAVING A RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE. THE GOAL IS FOR CENTRAL MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE (CMCC) TO FURTHER ITS GREEN ENERGY ALTERNATIVES, REDUCE ITS CARBON FOOTPRINT, AND REALLOCATE PORTIONS OF STATE FUNDING THAT ARE CURRENTLY BEING USED TO SUPPORT ELECTRICITY COSTS TOWARD OTHER NEEDS.$500,000
