**AWARDS ISSUED PRIOR TO JANUARY 20, 2025, WERE FUNDED UNDER PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATIONS AND MAY NOT REFLECT THE PRIORITIES AND POLICIES OF THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION.** ANIMAL MEDIATED POLLINATION IS ONE OF THE MOST ECOLOGICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY IMPORTANT MUTUALISMS, AND IS FUNDAMENTAL TO ECOSYSTEM FUNCTION AND CROP YIELDS, PROVIDING FOOD FOR BILLIONS OF PEOPLE. UNFORTUNATELY, POLLINATORS, PLANTS, AND THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THEM ARE THREATENED BY RAPID, GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE. IN THIS SYMPOSIUM, WE WILL REACH FOR AN INTEGRATIVE UNDERSTANDING OF POLLINATION THAT BRINGS TOGETHER SCHOLARS WITH DIVERSE EXPERTISE. THIS WILL ALLOW US, AS A LARGER COMMUNITY, TO STRATEGIZE CRUCIAL EXPERIMENTAL QUESTIONS WHOSE ANSWERS WILL HELP MAINTAIN POLLINATOR HEALTH UNDER GLOBAL CHANGE. THIS SYMPOSIUM WILL BE HOSTED AS PART OF THE SOCIETY FOR INTEGRATIVE AND COMPARATIVE BIOLOGY 2025 ANNUAL MEETING, AND CONSIST OF FOUR SYNERGISTIC COMPONENTS: (1) A CORE SYMPOSIUM CONSISTING OF 10 TALKS FROM LEADERS IN THE FIELD SPANNING CAREER STAGES, INSTITUTIONS, AND DISCIPLINES; (2) A COMPANION SESSION OF THEMATICALLY-RELATED CONTRIBUTED TALKS; (3) A FACILITATED DISCUSSION LEADING TO A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW ARTICLE; AND (4) A PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP FOCUSED ON APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER VISION AND DEEP LEARNING IN POLLINATOR ECOLOGY. THESE ACTIVITIES WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE POLLINATOR HEALTH PRIORITY IN THE USDA PHPPP PROGRAM AREA. EXPECTED OUTCOMES OF THIS CONFERENCE INCLUDE (1) PEER-REVIEWED ARTICLES (AT LEAST 10, ORIGINAL RESEARCH, REVIEWS, AND PERSPECTIVES), (2) PUBLICLY AVAILABLE WORKSHOP MATERIALS, AND (3) IMPROVED INTEGRATIVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF PLANT-POLLINATOR INTERACTIONS.
