HIGH-THROUGHPUT PHENOTYPING (HTP) HAS BEEN QUICKLY ADOPTED IN THE DAIRY INDUSTRY. EXAMPLES OF HTP TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDE SMART COLLARS, SENSING DEVICES, AND MILK SPECTROMETRY. THESE DATA ARE ROUTINELY USED FOR MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCIALIZATION (E.G., MILK PRICING); HOWEVER, INTEGRATING THIS INFORMATION INTO BREEDING SCHEMES REMAINS SUB-OPTIMAL. IN THIS PROJECT, WE WILL DEVELOP A NOVEL METHODOLOGY TO INTEGRATE HPT INTO GENETIC EVALUATIONS.
