RECENTLY, 4D PRINTING HAS EMERGED TO PRINT OBJECTS WITH FUNCTIONS OF DYNAMIC SHAPE CHANGES, WHICH IS BECOMING A NEW FRONTIER FOR INNOVATION. THIS PROJECT AIMSTO EXPLORE THE MECHANISMS AND APPLICATIONS OF 4D FOOD PRINTING BY DEVELOPING NOVEL PRINTABLE AND PROGRAMMABLE PRECURSORS USING RESPONSIVE BIOPOLYMERS. THE OUTCOMES OF THIS PROJECT WILL OPEN NEW POSSIBILITIES IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY RANGING FROM FLAT PACKAGING, CUSTOMIZED AND ENRICHED FOODS, AND INTERACTIVE FOODS THAT CAN PROVIDE UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE.
