IMPACT EJECTA PRODUCTION FROM METEOROID BOMBARDMENT IS A UBIQUITOUS PROCESS OCCURRING ON ALL AIRLESS BODIES THROUGHOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM. THE LUNAR DUST EXPERIMENT (LDEX) ABOARD THE LUNAR ATMOSPHERE AND DUST ENVIRONMENT EXPLORER (LADEE) MISSION REVEALED A RICH AND VARIABLE EJECTA CLOUD WHICH IS SENSITIVE TO CHANGES IN IMPACTING FLUXES OPENING THE DOOR TO NEW AND EXCITING AVENUES OF LUNAR RESEARCH. THE OVERALL GOAL OF THIS PROPOSAL IS TO USE THE OBSERVED DUST DISTRIBUTION AT THE MOON GENERATED BY IMPACTING METEOROID POPULATIONS TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS OF IMPACT EJECTA PRODUCTION.
