THE PROPOSED STUDIES WILL TARGET A QUANTITATIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE COMPRESSIONAL AND WHISTLER MODES AND THEIR INTERACTION WITH RELATIVISTIC ELECTRONS IN THE MAGNETOSPHERE. THE ELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC FIELD MEASUREMENTS BY SPACECRAFT IN THE MAGNETOSPHERE E. G. BY VAN ALLEN PROBES GEOTAIL CLUSTER AND THEMIS WILL BE USED IN THE STUDIES OF SPATIO-TEMPORAL STRUCTURE OF ULF AND WHISTLER WAVES AND THEIR NONLINEAR INTERACTIONS. THEIR ROLE IN ELECTRON ENERGIZATION THROUGH LINEAR AND NONLINEAR WAV-PARTICLE INTERACTIONS WILL BE ANALYZED USING THE MODE STRUCTURE OF THE LINEAR MODES AND THE SPATIAL FEATURES OF THE NONLINEAR PROCESSES. THE RELATIVISTIC ELECTRON DATA FROM VAN ALLEN PROBES GOES LANL AND SAMPEX WILL BE USED FOR ANALYZING THE TIME EVOLUTION OF ELECTRON DISTRIBUTIONS AND COMPARED WITH THE DATA. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES OF THE PROPOSED STUDIES ARE THE SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL FEATURES OF ULF AND WHISTLER EMISSIONS AND THEIR INTERACTION LOCALIZATION OF WHISTLERS BY ULF MODE STRUCTURE AND CONSTRAINTS ON ELECTRON ENERGIZATION.
