WE OBSERVED THE ENTIRE SMALL MAGELLANIC CLOUD INCLUDING THE BAR WING AND BRIDGE WITH THE SPITZER SPACE TELESCOPE IN TWO EPOCHS THREE MONTHS APART IN CYCLE 13. THESE OBSERVATIONS REPEAT THE FOOTPRINT OBTAINED FROM THE SAGE-SMC PROGRAM (SURVEYING THE AGENTS OF GALACTIC EVOLUTION) IN 2008 GIVING US A MINIMUM OF FOUR EPOCHS COVERING THE ENTIRE GALAXY WITH A TEMPORAL BASELINE OF NEARLY A DECADE. THESE DATA WILL FACILITATE THE CHARACTERIZATION OF THE POPULATION OF VARIABLE STARS IN THE SMC (ESPECIALLY DUSTY AND LONG-PERIOD VARIABLES) THE SEARCH FOR INFRARED TRANSIENTS IN THAT PART OF THE SKY AND THE SEARCH FOR GALACTIC BROWN DWARFS IN THE FOREGROUND. THE KEY TO ENABLING THIS SCIENCE IS TO PRODUCE CATALOGS WITH GOOD ASTROMETRIC AND PHOTOMETRIC FIDELITY. WE ARE THUS PROPOSING AN ASTROPHYSICAL DATABASE PROJECT FOR THIS PURPOSE. WITH SUPPORT FROM NASA'S ASTROPHYSICS DATA ANALYSIS PROGRAM WE WILL GENERATE MOSAICS AND EXTRACT ALL POINT SOURCES FROM THE NEW DATA AND ENSURE THAT THEY CONFORM TO EXTRACTIONS OF THE TWO SHORT-WAVELENGTH FILTERS ON THE INFRARED ARRAY CAMERA FROM THE SAGE-SMC PROGRAM AS WELL AS OTHER PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDED FIVE ADDITIONAL EPOCHS IN THE CORE OF THE SMC IN 2005 AND 2010-2011. WE WILL SUPPLY THE MOSAICS AND CATALOGS TO THE COMMUNITY VIA THE INFRARED SCIENCE ARCHIVE (IRSA) WHERE THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A MULTITUDE OF SCIENCE PROJECTS WELL BEYOND THOSE DESCRIBED HERE.
