THE HELIOSPHERE IS BATHED IN ENERGETIC PARTICLES THAT SPAN ENERGIES FROM KEV IN THE SOLAR WIND TO GEV IN GALACTIC COSMIC RAYS. THE PROCESSES THAT ENERGIZE AND TRANSPORT THEM THROUGHOUT THE HELIOSPHERE ARE NOT COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD. THESE PROCESSES OCCUR ACROSS A VARIETY OF SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL DOMAINS AS WELL AS ACROSS DIFFERENT BOUNDARIES (E.G. SOLAR WIND/MAGNETOSPHERE) AND ARE A CRITICAL PART OF HELIOSPHERIC PARTICLE DYNAMICS. WE PROPOSE TO ADVANCE THE UNDERSTANDING OF PARTICLE ENERGIZATION AND TRANSPORT BY A MULTI-PRONGED APPROACH COMBINING EXPERTISE IN DATA ANALYSIS HARDWARE MISSIONS MODELING AND THEORY TO STUDY ENERGETIC PARTICLE DYNAMICS FROM THE TERRESTRIAL MAGNETOSPHERE THROUGH INTERPLANETARY SPACE TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE HELIOSPHERE. THESE PROCESSES ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN OTHER ASTROPHYSICAL SOURCES WITHIN OUR GALAXY AND BEYOND BUT CAN ONLY BE STUDIED IN DETAIL IN THE HELIOSPHERE.
