THIS PROPOSAL IS IN COLLABORATION WITH PETER GORHAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII WHO IS THE PI OF THE LEAD PROPOSAL. CO-I VIEREGG AND HER GROUP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO WILL BEAR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ANALYSIS OF ANITA-V DATA IN SEARCH OF ULTRA-HIGH ENERGY (UHE) NEUTRINOS AND COSMIC RAYS AND WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PROTOTYPE DROP-DOWN ANTENNA ARRAY THAT WILL BE FLOWN ON ANITA-V AS A DEMONSTRATION OF A CONCEPT FOR FUTURE BALLOON MISSIONS TO INCREASE THE SENSITIVITY TO RADIO SIGNALS FROM COSMIC PARTICLES. UCHICAGO WILL ALSO PARTICIPATE IN INTEGRATION AND TESTING AND FIELD WORK IN PREPARATION FOR THE FLIGHT OF ANITAV. VIEREGG BRINGS SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN RADIO DETECTION OF UHE PARTICLES TO THE COLLABORATION LEVERAGING HER THIRTEEN YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BALLOONING AND RADIO AND MICROWAVE MEASUREMENTS TO SUPPORT ASPECTS OF DESIGN TESTING INTEGRATION AND ANALYSIS FOR ANITA-V.
