SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES THE PROPOSED WORK COMPRISES THE FOLLOWING TASKS: (I) ANALYZE COLLOCATED DATA FROM THE CALIPSO SPACEBORNE LIDAR AND THE CERES MEASUREMENTS OF SOLAR REFLECTED FLUX OVER BOTH LAND AND OCEAN TO UNDERSTAND RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LOW CLOUD COVER CLOUD DROPLET CONCENTRATION INTEGRATED ATTENUATED BACKSCATTER AND ALBEDO ON DAILY TO DECADAL TIMESCALES. EXAMINE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN IABS AND CLOUD COVER OVER LAND TO ASSESS WHERE REGIONS OF ANOMALOUSLY HIGH BACKSCATTER OCCUR FOR A GIVEN CLOUD COVER. EXAMINE TEMPORAL TRENDS IN IABS AEROSOL EXTINCTION CLOUD COVER LIQUID WATER PATH CLOUD DROPLET CONCENTRATION AND ALBEDO FROM A-TRAIN SATELLITE SENSORS OVER ENTIRE CALIPSO PERIOD (2006-2018) FOCUSING ON IN REGIONS WHERE THERE ARE OBSERVED OR EXPECTED TRENDS IN ANTHROPOGENIC AEROSOL LOADING (E.G. DOWNWIND OF NORTH AMERICA SE ASIA). (IV)WRITE UP A PUBLICATION DESCRIBING THE RESULTS OF THE ANALYSES ABOVE.
