THE BASIC APPROACH EMPLOYS PAIRS OF SYNCHRONIZED DATA INTERVALS FROM DIFFERENT SPACECRAFT. FOR A GIVEN INTERVAL WE TRANSFORM TO THE SOLAR WIND FRAME AND COMPUTE AN ELEMENTARY ESTIMATE OF A SPACE TIME CORRELATION. THE CORRELATION VALUES ARE COMPUTED USING AVERAGES OVER 1 TO 6 HOURS A FEW TYPICAL SPACECRAFT FRAME CORRELATION TIMES. THE COMPUTED CORRELATIONS ARE TAGGED WITH PARAMETERS SUCH AS SPACECRAFT TIME AVERAGING PERIOD SPEED VECTOR SEPARATION AND BINNED ACCORDING TO SPACE SEPARATION AND TIME SEPARATION. THE DATA ARE ACCUMULATING OVER MANY INTERVALS. STATISTICS BASED ON PARAMETERS SUCH AS SOLAR CYCLE AND SOLAR WIND SPEED ALLOW VARIOUS DETAILED CONDITIONAL STUDIES TO BE CARRIED OUT. SEVERAL SPECIFIC FUNDAMENTAL QUANTITIES WILL BE EXTRACTED FROM THE FINAL SPACE TIME CORRELATIONS.
