WE PROPOSE THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW SOFTWARE DUBBED JANUS FOR THE JOINT ANALYSIS OF IN-SITU THERMAL-ION MEASUREMENTS FROM TWO INSTRUMENTS ON THE WIND SPACECRAFT: FC AND PESA-LO. DESPITE THESE INSTRUMENTS COMPLIMENTARY DESIGNS THEIR MEASUREMENTS HAVE HERETO ONLY EVER BEEN PROCESSED SEPARATELY. ALSO WHILE THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE EXISTING SOFTWARE TOOLS FOR THEM ARE DIFFICULT-TO-USE LIMITED AND (IN THE CASE OF FC) LARGELY UNAVAILABLE.
