RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING THE PROPOSED ENSEMBLE FORECASTS OF HURRICANE EDOUARD (2014) HURRICANE EARL (2010) AND HURRICANE KARL (2010) AND PERFORM THE ANALYSIS OF INNER CORE STRUCTURE AND LARGE SCALE ENVIRONRPENTAL FACTORS TO IMPROVE THE UNDERSTANDING OF VORTEX DYNAMICS PROCESSES THE IMPACT OF LARGE SCALE ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AS WELL AS THE PREDICTABILITY OF HURRICANE. I) RUN HWRF ENSEMBLE FORECAST FOR HURRICANE EDOUARD (2014) HURRICAN EARL (2010) AND HURRICANE KARL (2010) FOR A FEW CYCLES DURING WHICH COMPREHENSIVE OBSERVATIONS ARE AVAILABLE. II) CREATE THE SYNTHETIC DATA (E.G. MICROWAVE BRIGHTNESS TEMPERATURES) FROM THE ENSEMBLE MEMBERS. III) ADOPT THE ADVANCED VERIFICATION PACKAGE DEVELOPED AT JPL AND DEVELOP METRICS THAT WILL DETERMINE WHICH ENSEMBLE MEMBERS COMPARE BEST TO OBSERVATIONS. IV) ANALYZE THE STRUCTURES IN THE REALISTIC VERSUS NON-REALISTIC FORECAST TO UNDERSTAND THE ROLE OF THE ENVIRONMENT VERSUS THAT OF THE CONVECTIVE-SCALE PROCESSES.
