DR. LIU'S PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS CALIBRATION AND ANALYSIS OF EUV OBSERVATIONS OF COMETS FROM SDO AND STEREO. HE WILL ALSO APPLY THE SAME ANALYSIS TO SYNTHETIC EUV RADIANCES FROM MODEL RESULTS AND MAKE COMPARISON WITH OBSERVATIONS. HIS SPECIC TASKS ARE DESCRIBED IN THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL UNDER SECTION 1.4.5 ANALYSIS OF EUV OB- SERVATIONS AND COMPARISON WITH MODELED RADIANCES" AND SUMMARIZED IN TABLE 1 UNDER 4. COM- PARISONS WITH SDO IMAGES": (4A) CALIBRATE AND ANALYZE EXISTING DATA SETS; (4B) ENHANCE IMAGES AND OBTAIN SPACETIME PLOTS; (4C) COMPARE EUV IMAGES WITH THE MODEL RADIANCES (JOINTLY WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS E.G. CO-I PAUL BRYANS).
