WE PROPOSE TO OBSERVE A SAMPLE OF RELATIVELY BRIGHT STARS IN CAMPAIGNS 11 12 &13 TO SEARCH FOR PLANET CANDIDATES THAT WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR FOLLOW-UP HIGH-PRECISION RV (HPRV) OBSERVATIONS. (ALTHOUGH THE SOUTHERN CAMPAIGN 11 FIELD IS OBSERVABLE FOR ONLY A LIMITED TIME FROM HARPS-N WE NONETHELESS PLAN TO PURSUE THE MOST EXCITING CAMPAIGN 11 TARGETS WITH HARPS-N AND MANY MORE CAMPAIGN 11 PLANETS WILL SURELY BE PURSUED BY SOUTHERN RV SPECTROGRAPHS.) AS DETAILED IN SECTION 3.3 OUR PROPOSAL WILL ALLOW US TO MEASURE THE MASSES OF 9 3 SMALL PLANETS TO 15% PRECISION. THESE MASSES AND RADII WOULD BE A SIGNIFICANT ADDITION TO THE MASS-RADIUS DIAGRAM FOR SMALL PLANETS AND AID FUTURE EFFORTS.
