1. STANFORD WILL PROVIDE FULL-DISK SUBSURFACE FLOW FIELDS TO COLLABORATORS AT THE AIR FORCE AND LOS ALAMOS. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THESE HELIOSEISMICALLY DERIVED FLOW FIELDSWILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THEIR NUMERICAL SIMULATION CODE THAT IS USED TO IMPROVE SPACE WEATHER FORECAST. COLLABORATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS WILL OCCUR DURING THIS 3-YEAR PERIOD.2. STANFORD WILL PROVIDE HELIOSEISMICALLY DERIVED PROPERTIES FROM EMERGING ACTIVE REGIONS TO COLLABORATORS AT HAO MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY AND MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY.THESE OBSERVED PROPERTIES WILL BE USED TO EXAMINE THE SIMULATION RESULTS FROM THOSE NUMERICAL SIMULATORS AND SEE HOW REALISTIC THEIR SIMULATIONS ARE AND HOW THEIRSIMULATIONS CAN BE IMPROVED.3. STANFORD WILL ANALYZE SIMULATION DATA PROVIDED BY COLLABORATORS AT NASA AMES FOR TWO PURPOSES. ONE IS TO EXAMINE HOW CLOSE THOSE SIMULATIONS ARE TO OBSERVATIONS AND THE OTHER IS TO USE THOSE SIMULATION DATA TO VALIDATE HELIOSEISMIC ANALYSIS METHODS.
