THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS BY 80% AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY 70% WHILE DECREASING OPERATING COSTS BY 12% DURING THE POTATO CHIP FRYING PROCESS. THE PROPOSED TECHNIQUE’S TARGET LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON R&D ACTIVITIES TO VALIDATE TECHNOLOGY COMPONENTS IN A LABORATORY AND RELEVANT ENVIRONMENTS AND IN INDUSTRIAL RELEVANT CONDITIONS. THE METRIC PERFORMANCES ARE BASED ON THE SUPER CONDENSER ENABLED HTHP SYSTEM. TO ACHIEVE THESE PERFORMANCES, THE PROJECT WILL CONDUCT TECHNOLOGY VALIDATION IN LABORATORY AND RELEVANT ENVIRONMENTS BY COLLECTING EXPERIMENTAL DATA TO DEMONSTRATE THE TECHNO-ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY.
