TO REDUCE THE CARBON INTENSITY OF CEMENT AND CONCRETE MATERIALS (GOAL), THIS PROJECT PROPOSES A NEW AND INNOVATIVE METHOD FOR MINERALIZATION OF CO2 WITH PROCESSED RECYCLED CONCRETE (SEPARATED PASTE AND AGGREGATE). THE CARBONATED PASTE WILL BE USED AS A SUPPLEMENTARY CEMENTITIOUS MATERIAL (SCM) IN PREPARATION OF BLENDED CEMENT FORMULATIONS TO DECREASE THE EMBODIED CO2 OF CEMENT AND CONCRETE PRODUCTS. TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES WILL BE PURSUED IN THIS PROJECT.
