THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP BILITHIC INTEGRATION AS A SCALABLE INTEGRATION STRATEGY TO PROCESS HIGHLY EFFICIENT PEROVSKITE MODULES WITHOUT OPENING THE AVENUES FOR DEGRADATION CURRENTLY FOUND IN PEROVSKITE MONOLITHIC INTEGRATION. IN THIS REPORT, WE DEFINE “BILITHIC” INTEGRATION AS THE PREPARATION OF COMPONENTS OF THE ACTIVE DEVICE ON TWO SEPARATE SUBSTRATES FOR JOINING TOGETHER INTO ONE FINAL MODULE. THIS “BILITHIC” APPROACH USING TWO SUBSTRATES IS DISTINCT FROM THE TRADITIONAL “MONOLITHIC” INTEGRATION OF MODULES, WHICH PREPARES ALL DEVICE LAYERS ON A SINGLE SUBSTRATE USING SERIAL PROCESSING.
