DESIGNED FROM THE GROUND UP FOR HIGH-UPLIFT AND OMNI-DIRECTIONAL LOADING, THE COST-EFFECTIVE TRITON ANCHOR UTILIZES A GROUP OF COMMERCIAL OFF THE SHELF DEEPLY EMBEDDED HELICAL PILES WITHIN A SHORT CAISSON FOR MAXIMUM HOLDING CAPACITY. THE MODULAR ANCHOR IS DESIGNED FOR LOCAL CONSTRUCTION, SMALLER DEPLOYMENT VESSELS, AND SILENT, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY INSTALLATION. TRITON AND ITS PARTNERS WILL VALIDATE NUMERICALLY MODEL WIND, WAVE, AND CO-USE WIND AND WAVE PLATFORM ARRAYS THROUGH PHYSICAL CENTRIFUGE TESTING TO DERIVE ANCHOR OPTIMIZATIONS TAILORED SPECIFICALLY TO OMNI-DIRECTIONAL LOADING SCENARIOS. TRITON’S GOAL IS TO DEVELOP THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE SHARED ANCHOR SOLUTION TO BE USED COMMERCIALLY AND IN DEMONSTRATION APPLICATIONS.
