LOWER COST, CARBON DIOXIDE FREE, HYDROGEN PRODUCTION VIA METHANE PYROLYSIS IN MOLTEN TIN THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP A LOWER COST METHOD FOR CARBON DIOXIDE FREE HYDROGEN PRODUCTION VIA METHANE PYROLYSIS IN A LIQUID TIN BUBBLE COLUMN REACTOR. THE MAJOR GOAL OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS TO SUCCESSFULLY DESIGN, MODEL AND DEMONSTRATE A CONTINUOUS REACTOR THAT OPERATES WITH 100 PERCENT METHANE, AT 1400-1500 DEGREES CELSIUS TO ACHIEVE FULL CONVERSION OF METHANE TO HYDROGEN AND A SOLID CARBON BY-PRODUCT. A SECOND GOAL OF THE PROJECT IS TO ADDRESS IMPORTANT ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH SCALABILITY OF THE SYSTEM.
