ADVANCING CARBON CAPTURE, UTILIZATION AND STORAGE (CCUS) IN THE MICHIGAN BASIN THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REDUCE THE RISKS OF COMMERCIAL-SCALE STORAGE, ADVANCE THE UNDERSTANDING OF CARBON CAPTURE, UTILIZATION, AND STORAGE TECHNOLOGY WITHIN COMMUNITIES, AND ENSURE THE LONG-TERM, SAFE, AND EQUITABLE STORAGE OF CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) WITHIN THE MICHIGAN BASIN. THE ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES OF THIS PROJECT ARE A DATABASE OF GEOMECHANICAL AND LITHOLOGICAL DATA, A WELLBORE INTEGRITY ASSESSMENT TOOL, AND AN INTEGRATED USER-FRIENDLY TOOL FOR GEOLOGIC AND SOCIETAL CONSIDERATIONS ASSESSMENTS. ANY DATA PRODUCTS GENERATED AS A RESULT OF FEDERALLY FUNDED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE NATIONAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY (NETL) FOR INCLUSION IN THE ENERGY DATA EXCHANGE (EDX), HTTPS://EDX.NETL.DOE.GOV/.
