PLASMA-ASSISTED CONVERSION OF CARBON DIOXIDE-CONTAINING METHANE TO VALUE ADDED CHEMICALS THE INTEGRATED SOCIAL/TECHNOLOGICAL NATURE OF THIS PROJECT WILL PREPARE A NEW GENERATION OF UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY STUDENTS WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THE PROCESS, WHILE TEACHING THEM HOW TO INTRODUCE NEWLY DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY INTO THE NETWORKS OF RURAL COMMUNITIES. THE TECHNICAL OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK IS TO EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY OF CONVERSION OF CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2)-CONTAINING METHANE (CH4) STREAMS TO VALUE-ADDED CHEMICALS, SUCH AS OXYGENATED AROMATIC PRODUCTS, BY USING A TANDEM PLASMA CATALYTIC PROCESS.
