INFLATION REDUCTION ACT (IRA) – METHANE EMISSION MITIGATION BY FIELD DEPLOYMENT OF INNOVATIVE CONTROLLED COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGY THIS PROJECT FOCUSES ON ACCELERATING THE COMMERCIALIZATION, SCALE-UP AND APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE METHANE EMISSIONS REDUCTION TECHNOLOGIES. THE OBJECTIVE FOR THIS PROJECT IS THE FIELD DEPLOYMENT, FULL-SCALE VALIDATION, AND COMMERCIALIZATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES CAPABLE OF MITIGATING THE METHANE EMISSIONS CAUSED BY FLARING AND NON-SAFETY-RELATED VENTING PRACTICES UPSTREAM AT THE WELL. THE ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE A COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR MITIGATING THE METHANE SLIP FROM SUBOPTIMAL GAS BURNING AND FLAMEOUT EVENTS.
