DEVELOPMENT OF COAL-BASED SUPERCAPACITOR MATERIALS FOR ENERGY STORAGE THIS PROJECT WILL RESEARCH WAYS TO CREATE BATTERY PARTS (SUPERCAPACITOR MATERIALS) FROM DOMESTIC COAL IN COST EFFECTIVE MANNER. THE RECIPIENT WILL THEN TEST THE BATTERIES MADE WITH THEIR COAL BASED MATERIALS AGAINST CURRENT BATTERIES TO DETERMINE THEIR PERFORMANCE AND THEN PERFORM A TECHNOECONOMIC EVALUATION TO DETERMINE IF THEY ARE ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE.
