PREVIOUS RESEARCH COMPLETED WITH AL-CE BASED ALLOYS HAS SHOWN PROMISING RESULTS FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (AM) IN THE FORM OF IMPROVED MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND PRINTABILITY. THIS PROJECT INTENDS TO EXPAND UPON THIS WORK BY FURTHER DEVELOPING THE DEPOSITION PARAMETERS FOR AM AL-CE AND COLLECTING MECHANICAL PROPERTY DATA SUFFICIENT FOR INITIAL SIZING OF RELEVANT AEROSPACE PART APPLICATIONS. ADDITIONALLY, THIS PROJECT WILL DEMONSTRATE THE USE OF THIS DATA BY MANUFACTURING AND TESTING A RELEVANT AEROSPACE PART.
