Abstract

This award provides travel support for selected student participants of the Doctoral Consortium (DC) at the 2025 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2025), which will take place in Montreal, Canada, from August 16-22, 2025. IJCAI is a premier international conference in artificial intelligence (AI), bringing together researchers, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs. IJCAI seeks to promote collaboration across different disciplines and encourages the development of innovative solutions to real-world problems. By providing a platform for sharing cutting-edge ideas and advancements, IJCAI plays an important role in shaping the future of AI. The IJCAI Doctoral Consortium is designed to foster the research and career development of Ph.D. students at all stages. Students receiving travel support will present their research, receive in-depth feedback from senior AI researchers, and engage in discussions with fellow doctoral students. In addition to the consortium, they will participate in the main conference, which features a rich technical program, including invited talks, paper presentations, workshops, and tutorials. By attending IJCAI 2025, students will gain valuable exposure to cutting-edge research, expand their professional networks, and explore new directions in AI. The program offers a unique platform for intellectual exchange and mentorship, helping to cultivate the next generation of AI researchers and innovators. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
