Abstract

Network security is a key area of research in cybersecurity, and IEEE CNS is a highly respected conference in the field, attracting students, researchers and industry specialists from all over the world. The scope of research papers accepted to IEEE CNS range cover a wide range of topics in the general space of network security. Providing support to students to attend IEEE CNS will provide knowledge sharing, increased visibility of the students’ research (and awareness by the students of others’ research), and career development opportunities. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
