Abstract

The 2014 International Indian Statistical Association (IISA) Conference on Research Innovations in Statistics for Health, Education, Technology, and Society will be held at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California during July 11-13. The goal of the conference is to bring together a diverse group of researchers, educators, professionals, postdocs, and graduate students to share information on recent advancements in the fields of statistics, biostatistics, probability, and their application areas, including health, education, environment, technology, and society. This award partially supports the participation of students and young researchers in the conference, which brings together senior researchers, professionals, educators, and students from academia, industries, government, and research institutes to discuss the major issues and challenges in these fields and to share the latest developments. The conference includes plenary, special invited, young-researcher, and contributed presentations, as well as student presentations selected via competition.
