Abstract

This is a small international travel award to fund the participation of one Colby student and two additional US researcher at the Arctic Perspectives Conference being held in Naryan Mar, Russia in June 2010. The conference will have international participation of interdisciplinary scholars from Russia, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Inuit homelands, and the US. These scholars will discuss topics that contribute to the dialog of the national determinants and universal aspect of Arctic science and technology in the 21st century.
