Abstract

The Federal Interagency Conference (JFIC) merges the 9th Federal Interagency Sedimentation Conference (FISC) and the 4th Federal Interagency Hydrology Modeling Conference (FIHMC). Both conferences have a long and solid reputation with regard to successful focused and productive scientific meetings. Additionally, this is a traditional meeting for students and new graduates to seek employment and ex-student/student participation is high. The 2010 Conference follows the format of previously successful meeting and proposal seeks to enhance and facilitate the 2010 JFIC via support for registration (including Proceedings), travel, and per-diem expenses of selected university and non-federal participants, with the majority target on students The budget request anticipates supporting 16 individuals, mainly students.
