Abstract
This proposal is seeking funding for Technical Committee on Parallel Processing (TCPP) to allow 44 awards (at $700/student) to be split evenly between IPDPS student author support and PhD forum travel support. The proposed increase from $500 to $700 per award is in light of the expected increase in travel and lodging cost to Rome, the location of IPDPS-09. This proposal is seeking funding for Technical Committee on Parallel Processing (TCPP) to allow 44 awards (at $700/student) to be split evenly between IPDPS student author support and PhD forum travel support. Based on the TCPP's 2009 budget, the PIs expect to supplement this with additional number of awards and/or additional amount per award.
