Items Requested in Priority Order: 1. Wire Monitoring System Up-grades 2. Portable Deck Capstan 3. 5000m of 0.498 Conductor Cable The PI addressed the Broader Impact and Intellectual Merit of the proposed equipment for the R/V HUGH R. SHARP. The research projects supported have been individually peer-reviewed for scientific merit. The goal of the proposal is to provide enhanced safety and capability for science operations. The University of Delaware, College of Marine and Earth Studies participates in a large number of outreach programs, including Coast Day. It also hosts the servers for the UNOLS Office and operates the East Coast Van Pool.
