Support for the 40th Annual ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Microarchitecture (MICRO) 2007 This symposium is a top-tier conference which brings together researchers from the microprocessor area of computer system architecture. A key emphasis of this conference is to bring about significant interaction between academic researchers and designers from industry to facilitate collaborations and technology transfer. This outreach activity supports travel for students and junior faculty to attend the symposium and have an outlet for exposure to economically transformative research of interest to industry.
