Abstract

PACT is a multi-disciplinary conference that brings together researchers from the hardware and software areas to present ground-breaking research related to parallel systems ranging across instruction-level parallelism, thread-level parallelism, multiprocessor parallelism and distributed systems. PACT features cutting-edge research in architecture, compilers, languages and applications across a broad range of topics. The conference organizers apply for travel funds to cover travel expenses for US students to attend the meeting. The opportunity to interact with European researches is very important as a lot of important compiler/hardware work is done in Europe. The request of $12,000 would provide full support for about 6 students. The disbursement of funds to the students would be handled out of Texas A&M.
