Abstract

EXP-LA: EXP-LA: Collaborative Research: EXP-LA: Optimized Multi-algorithm Systems for Detecting Explosive Objects Using Robust Clustering and Choquet Integration. PI name: Hichem Frigui Institution: University of Louisville Research Foundation Inc. Proposal Number: 0730802 This project will develop multi-algorithm systems that detect explosive objects from sensor data obtained through detecting tools such as ground penetrating radars. Analysis of context will be used as a precursor to detection of landmines. The PIs already have algorithms and test data, and will build on this previous work. They also will perform experiments to determine if their previous work applies in the situations envisioned.
