Abstract

EXP-LA: Explosives and IEDs in the Dark Web: Discovery, Categorization, and Analysis Hsinchun Chen University of Arizona (0730908) The goal of the activity is to build a system for collecting and marshaling IED related content from hidden web repositories through the creation of (1) focused web crawlers, (2) categorization algorithms capable of grouping multimedia documents into relevant categories to the IED domain, and (3) content analysis techniques. Preliminary work has been carried out for thousands of documents.
