Abstract

This award supports participant expenses for a workshop on Cyber-Physical Systems, held October 16-17, 2006, in Austin, Texas. Participants were drawn from computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics, and biology. The aims of this meeting were to explore and document future joint research in computer science and engineering. The focus was on effort that is needed to advance the design and implementation of physical and engineered systems that are fundamentally integrated through cyber capability.
