Abstract

Every year the American Geophysical Union assists in organizing a variety of conferences named in honor of the noted space physicist, Dr. Sydney Chapman. Established scientists are expected to be able to fund their own travel to attend Chapman conferences, but the AGU typically requests funding from Federal Agencies to assist students and young researchers to attend the meeting. This award will provide funding for student participation in the 2007 AGU Chapman Conference on Mid-latitude Ionospheric Dynamics and Disturbances.
