Abstract
The International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP) is a flagship venu in the high performance computing field. Fifteen well established experts in the field of parallel processing and high performance computing discussed the strong impact made and leadership roles played by ICPP in the last 35 years. This conference has produced first-class researchers and professors in the last 35 years and hopes to continue this success rate for the next 35 years. The panel also discussed several critical issues, such as new challenges in the field, and branched out to subjects beyond the original scope of parallel processing. The conference will be held in XiAn, China, in 2007.
