Abstract
The project will conduct a study of the Centers for Learning and Teaching (CLT) doctoral students to track their career paths immediately following their CLT participation. A mix of quantitative and qualitative measures will be designed, tested and employed to address ten specific research questions pertaining to degree productivity of the program and the relationships between awardees' initial career decisions and specific program features. The study will yield new information both about the productivity of the CLT program as a whole and as compared with non-CLT doctoral programs in STEM education fields. These findings can contribute to improving the design and implementation of future doctoral programs.
