Abstract
0604013 Taylor This award to University of Hawaii at Manoa provides support for the acquisition of shared-use scientific research instrumentation to be used on R/V Kilo Moana, a research vessel operated by University of Hawaii as part of the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System fleet. Specific instrumentation supported under this award includes computers for the shipboard Scientific Instrumentation System, displays to expand user capabilities in various laboratories on the vessel, and replacement electronics for the two multibeam echosounders used for sea floor mapping. These acquisitions should provide a substantial advantage to marine scientists in their research during 2006 and future years. ***
