Investigators
Abstract
This award enables a planning workshop to initiate a series of meetings and actions on Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). The meeting is being held in Arlington, VA, July 26-27, 2006. The goal is to forge a multi-domain community of researchers who will focus on CPS as a unified research area. The planning meeting draws together an inclusive group of experts who are research and thought leaders from key relevant domains: real-time systems, embedded systems, systems software and middleware, control systems, wired and wireless networks, and mobile systems. The planning workshop will develop a strategy and plan for community-scale workshops to assess research needs and develop research roadmaps in this emerging area.
