Support for BIOGEOMON: The Fifth International Symposium on Ecosystem Behaviour

Abstract

This award will partially support an international conference on Ecosystem science with an emphasis on biogeochemistry, i.e., the chemistry and biology of soils and other components of ecosystems. It will explore new frontiers and future directions in this field. Though the conference will be held in the U.S., there will be an important contingent of international scientists involved. The NSF support will facilitate the attendance of students and researchers from developing countries in the conference.
