Abstract

0612206 Sause Leigh University Partial support is provided for student participation in the First International Conference on Fatigue and Fracture in the Infrastructure-Bridges and Structures of the 21st Century to be held in Philadelphia in August of 2006. The conference will address a number of topics, from failure analyses and lessons learned to application of advanced materials and analytical techniques in design, repair, and retrofit. Instrumentation for field monitoring, NDT and life prediction techniques will also be addressed. Students will be selected on basics of interest and background in the field and with view to broadening diversity of participation.
