Abstract
Wichita State University is planning to become a research site of the multi-university Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Friction Stir Processing with the South Dakota School of Mines, Brigham Young University, University of Missouri-Rolla and the University of South Carolina. Wichita State University will develop a full partnership with nationally recognized leaders in the research and development of this novel metals joining and processing technology.
