Abstract
This SGER proposal describes an effort to experiment under different real-world emergency scenarios the use and effectiveness of massive cluster-based computational resources. One key to this work is the exploration of working under a new paradigm of on-demand resource reconfiguration. OU will build a large distributed computing computational capability, based largely on Condor, and apply those resources in project-developed simulated situations commanding immediate use in emergency response conditions.
