Abstract
AST-0505407--Tollestrup/U Hawaii This project employs state-of-the-art techniques in computer-controlled polishing and ion beam milling to manufacture a corrective secondary mirror that will counteract primary-mirror deficiencies of the NASA 3-m Infrared Telescope Facility and transform the instrument into a telescope for high dynamic range imaging.
